Temple Tappers is an award-winning family-run pursuit located in the town of Temple, one of two towns in Maine you can drive to, but you can’t drive through. We make birch syrup during the first weeks of April. It's a short season and generally lasts 1 to 3 weeks, but it produces one of the unique tasting delights on the planet.
The rest of the year we prepare and sell and scheme: How to survive as sustainable forest farmers; make music, puppet shows, teach ATM’s (that’s Awareness Through Movement), AND, at the very least, be a positive force in this historic fight for social justice and a livable planet.
All of our birch syrup and apple syrup comes from the sap in the birch trees and the juice from our apples on the 200 acres where we live in Temple.
Try it! THIS YEAR'S IS THE BEST TASTING SYRUP EVER!
